წმიდა პიტირიმმა, ველიკოპერმელმა ეპისკოპოსმა, მოწამეობრივად აღსრულებული მღვდელმთავრის, გერასიმეს (+1441 წლის შემდგომ; ხს. 24 იანვარს) შემდეგ ჩაიბარა ველოკომპერის საეპისკოპოსო კათედრა. მანამდე ნეტარი მამა არქიმანდრიტის ხარისხში წინამძღვრობდა ჩუდოვოს მონასტერს. მოგვიანებით მან შექმნა კანონი მოსკოველი მიტროპოლიტის, წმიდა ალექსისა (ხს. 12 თებერვალს) და შეკრიბა ცნობები მისი ცხოვრების შესახებ. წმიდა პიტირიმის მოციქულებრივი ღვაწლი მალე დაეტყო ეპარქიაში შემავალ წარმართთა ცხოვრებას და ნელ-ნელა, მათი ქრისტიანობაზე მოქცევის პარალელურად, სისხლისღვრამაც იკლო.
