ღირსი ისააკ ასური (+550) - VI საუკუნის შუა წლებში ცხოვრობდა. ის სირიიდან ჩავიდა იტალიის ქალაქ სპოლეტოში. ღირსმა მამამ მნათეებს სთხოვა, ნება დაერთოთ ტაძარში დარჩენილიყო სალოცავად და ორდღენახევარი ლოცულობდა. ერთ-ერთმა მნათემ წმიდა ისააკს პირმოთნე უწოდა და სილა გააწნა. ღვთის რისხვა მეყვსეულად დაატყდა თავს ამპარტავან მნათეს - ბოროტმა სულმა დასცა და აყვირდა: „ისააკი განდევნის“. როგორც კი ღირსი ისააკი დაიხარა იატაკზე დამხობილი შეპყრობილისაკენ, უწმინდურმა სულმა მსწრაფლ დატოვა გვემული.
