წმიდა მოწამე ევფსიქი (+362) - დაიბადა კაბადოკიის კესარიაში; მშობლებმა იგი ქრისტიანულად აღზარდეს. იმპერატორ იულიანე განდგომილის (361-363) დროს კესარიაში იყო წარმართული ქალღმერთის, ფორტუნას ტაძარი, რომელსაც იულიანე დიდ პატივს მიაგებდა. წმიდა ევფსიქიმ ხალხი შეკრიბა და ტაძარი დაარბია. წმიდანმა იცოდა, რომ ამ საქციელისთვის სასჯელი არ ასცდებოდა, მთელი ქონება ღარიბებს დაურიგა და მოწამეობრივი აღსასრულისთვის გაემზადა.
