წმიდანი ასორმოცდათექვსმეტი მოწამენი: პელიოსი და ნილოსი - მეგვიპტელი ეპისკოპოსნი, ზენონ ხუცესი, პატერმუთე, ილია და სხვანი იმპერატორ მაქსიმიანე გალერიუსის (305-311) დროს აღესრულნენ. მარტვილთა უმეტესობა ეგვიპტელი იყო, იყვნენ მათ შორის პალესტინელებიც. ისინი პალესტინის მმართველმა ფირმილიანემ შეიპყრო და სასტიკად აწამა: ნეტარებს თვალები დათხარეს, ფეხის ძარღვები დააჭრეს... ბოლოს ას მოწამეს თავი მოჰკვეთეს, დანარჩენები კი - დაწვეს.
