წმიდა მოწამენი: იუვენტინე და მაქსიმე მხედარნი იმპერატორ იულიანე განდგომილის (361-363) პირადი მცველები იყვნენ. ერთხელ, ანტიოქიაში ყოფნისას, იულიანემ გადაწყვიტა, ბაზრებში ყველა საკვები პროდუქტისთვის ნაკერპავი სისხლი ესხურებინა და ქრისტიანები შეებილწა. წმიდა იუვენტინემ და მაქსიმემ დაუფარავად დაგმეს მეფის საქციელი და ამხილეს იგი ქრისტიანული სარწმუნოების უარყოფაში. ორივე მათგანი უღმრთო ხელისუფლის ბრძანებით დაუნდობლად გვემეს, შემდეგ კი საპყრობილეში დაახრჩვეს. მათ ეკლესია 9 ოქტომბერსაც იხსენიებს.
