წმიდა მოწამე იოანიკე, სერბეთის პატრიარქი წარმოშობით ქალაქ პრიზრენიდან იყო. ცნობილია, რომ თავდაპირველად იგი მეფე კარლოს სერბის მდივანი იყო, შემდეგ კი, 1339 წლიდან, - ეკლესიას განაგებდა მთავარეპისკოპოსის ხარისხში. 1346 წელს სრულიად სერბეთის მღვდელმთავართა კრებამ, რომელსაც ბულგარეთის პატრიარქიც ესწრებოდა, მეფე დუშანის სურვილით მთავარეპისკოპოსი იოანიკე სერბეთის მართლმადიდებლური ეკლესიის პატრიარქად აირჩია. წმიდა მამა 1349 წლის 3 სექტემბერს მიიცვალა. დაკრძალულია პეჩის სავანეში.
