წმიდა მინა, კონსტანტინოპოლელი პატრიარქი (536-552) თავდაპირველად ხუცესად მსახურობდა კონსტანტინოპოლში და ღირსი სამსონ უცხოთშემწყნარებლის დავრდომილთა თავშესაფრის ზედამხედველი იყო წმიდა იუსტინიანე I-ის (527-565) ზეობისას. სათნოებებით უხვად შემკული, მართლმადიდებლობის მხნე აღმსარებელი მამა ერეტიკოს ანთიმოზის (535-536) ჩამოგდების შემდეგ აღასაყდრეს კონსტანტინოპოლის საპატრიარქო ტახტზე. ხელდასხმა აღასრულა იმჟამად კონსტანტინოპოლში მყოფმა რომის პაპმა აღაპიტემ (535-536). მღვდელმთავარ მინას პატრიარქობის დროს კონსტანტინოპოლში მოხდა სასწაული, რომელიც მთელს ქალაქში გახდა ცნობილი.
