წმიდა მოწამე ლუპე III-IV საუკუნეთა მიჯნაზე ცხოვრობდა და წმიდა დიდმოწამე დიმიტრი თესალონიკელის (ხს. 26 ოქტომბერს) ერთგული მსახური იყო. იგი დაესწრო თავისი ბატონის მოწამეობრივ აღსასრულს. დიდმოწამე დიმიტრის ბეჭდით, სისხლინი სამოსლითა და წმიდანის სახელით წმიდა ლუპე თესალონიკში მრავალ სასწაულს აღასრულებდა. ნეტარი ნებით ჩაბარდა უღმრთოებს და იმპერატორ მაქსიმიანე გალერიუსის (305-311) ბრძანებით თავი მოჰკვეთეს (+306 წლის შემდეგ).
