წმიდა მოწამე ესპერი, მეუღლე მისი ზოია და ძენი კირიაკე და თეოდულე მდიდარი წარმართ რომულის კატულუსის მონები იყვნენ (II). ისინი ეწამნენ ადრიანე იმპერატორის (117-138) მიერ ქრისტიანთა დევნისას. კატულუსის ვაჟის დაბადებასთან დაკავშირებით სასახლეში ქალღმერთ ფორტუნას სახელზე ზეიმი გამართეს. მონებს სადღესასწაულო ტრაპეზიდან გაუყვეს საჭმელი, რომელშიც ნაკერპავი ხორცი და ღვინოც შედიოდა. წმიდანები საჭმელს არ გაეკარნენ. ზოიამ ღვინო მიწაზე დაასხა, ხორცი კი ძაღლებს მიუგდო. მაშინ კატულუსმა ბრძანა, წმიდა ზოიას ვაჟები ეწამებინათ.
