წმიდა მოწამე პავსიანე (+დაახლ. 117-138) - აღესრულა იმპერატორ ადრიანეს დროს. წარმართთაგან ქრისტიანობისათვის დასმენილი წმიდა პავსიანე იმპერატორს მიჰგვარეს. ხანგრძლივი წამების შემდეგ პავსიანეს ბორკილები დაადეს და მოსაკლავად წაიყვანეს. გზაში ის მხურვალედ ევედრებოდა უფალს, რომ დაეხსნა ჯალათების ხელიდან და უშფოთველი აღსასრული მოემადლებინა მისთვის. უფალმა შეისმინა მისი ვედრება: ნაგვემმა და დასუსტებულმა მოწამემ ისეთი ძალა იგრძნო, რომ რკინის ბორკილები გაგლიჯა და გაიქცა. ჯალათები გამოუდგნენ, მაგრამ წმიდა პავსიანემ მათ მოახლოებამდე შეჰვედრა სული უფალს.
