წმიდა მოწამენი: მაქსიმე, თეოდოტე, ისიხი და ასკილიპიოდოტა ადრიანოპოლში, იმპერატორ მაქსიმიანეს (305-311) ქალაქში ეწამნენ ქრისტეს აღსარებისათვის. მაქსიმე, თეოდოტი და ისიხი ხეზე დაკიდეს და რკინის სამთითებით ჯიჯგნეს, შემდეგ ქალაქიდან ქალაქში დაატარებდნენ დაცინვითა და ლანძღვა-გინებით, ბოლოს კი მხეცებს მიუყარეს დასაგლეჯად. ღვთის მადლით შემოსილი მარტვილები მხეცებისგან უვნებლად იქნენ დაცულნი და ჯალათებს ხელით აღესრულნენ.
