წმიდა მოწამენი: ორმოცი ქალწულნი და ამონა დიაკონი, იმპერატორ ლიკინიუსის (307-324) დროს, IV საუკუნის დასაწყისში აღესრულნენ მოწამეობრივად მაკედონიის ქალაქ ადრიანოპოლში. მმართველმა ბაბდუსმა სასტიკი სატანჯველები დაატეხა მათ თავს, შემდეგ კი სხვა მტარვალთან გაგზავნა ჰერაკლიაში. ქრისტეს ტარიგებმა აქაც ახოვნად აღიარეს ჭეშმარიტი ღმერთი და ცრუღვთაებებისთვის მსხვერპლის შეწირვაზე მტკიცე უარი განაცხადეს. ამისთვის უღმრთო ხელისუფლის ბრძანებით წმიდა ამონასა და მასთან ერთად რვა ქალწულს თავები მოჰკვეთეს, ათი დაწვეს, დანარჩენები კი მახვილებით განგმირეს.
