წმიდა მოწამენი: თეოდორე, მიანე, იულიანე და კიონი იმპერატორ მაქსიმიანე გალერიუსის (305-311) დროს ცხოვრობდნენ და წარმოშობით სოფელ კანდაბლიდან (ნიკომიდიის მახლობლად) იყვნენ. ქრისტეს აღსარებისთვის ისინი დაატუსაღეს და აწამეს: ჯერ რკინის ჩანგლებით ჯიჯგნეს, შემდეგ კი გახურებულ აბანოში გამოკეტეს. მარტვილები რომ არ გაქცეულიყვნენ, კარებს სამეფო ბეჭედი დაადეს, მაგრამ უფლის ანგელოზმა გაათავისუფლა ისინი. მხედრებმა კვლავ შეიპყრეს წმიდანები და ქალაქგარეთ გაიყვანეს სიკვდილით დასასჯელად. ქრისტეს ტარიგებმა ჯერ დრო ითხოვეს ლოცვისთვის, შემდეგ კი სიხარულით შეჰვედრეს სული უფალს. უსჯულოებმა მათი ცხედრები დაჩეხეს და დაწვეს.
