ღირსი პალადი მეუდაბნოე ერთი მთის გამოქვაბულში მოღვაწეობდა სირიის ანტიოქიის მახლობლად. დაუცხრომელი მოღვაწეობისათვის მან უფლისაგან სასწაულთქმედების ნიჭი მიიღო. ერთხელ ღირსი მამა მღვიმის მახლობლად, უცნობი ვაჭრის ცხედარი იპოვეს და მის მკვლელობაში დასდეს ბრალი, მაგრამ მეუდაბნოის ლოცვით მიცვალებული მკვდრეთით აღსდგა და თავისი ნამდვილი მკვლელები დაასახელა. წმიდანი IV საუკუნის დასასრულს გარდაიცვალა.
