ხსენება სასწაულისა ხატისა უფლისა ჩვენისა იესო ქრისტესი ბეირუთში. მეშვიდე მსოფლიო კრების (787 წ.) მეოთხე სხდომაზე ნიკომიდიელმა ეპისკოპოსმა პეტრემ ხატების თაყვანისცემის აუცილებლობის დასამტკიცებლად მოიშველია წმიდა ათანასეს სიტყვა ქალაქ ბიროში (დღევანდელ ბეირუთში) მომხდარი სასწაულის შესახებ.
