ღირსი სინკლიტიკია ალექსანდრიელი შეძლებული ოჯახის ასული იყო. მომხიბლავი ქალწული სიყრმიდანვე მხოლოდ უფლის სათნოყოფაზე ფიქრობდა. მან გათხოვებაზე უარი განაცხადა და მარხვასა და ლოცვაში ატარებდა დღეებს. მშობლების სიკვდილის შემდეგ მან მთელი ქონება გლახაკებს დაურიგა, მონაზვნად აღიკვეცა და უსინათლო დასთან ერთად ერთი ნათესავის კუთვნილ აკლდამაში დაემკვიდრა. როცა წმიდანის მოღვაწეობის ამბავი გახმიანდა, იქაურობას მრავალმა დედამ და ქალწულმა მიაშურა. ღირსი სინკლიტიკიაც მთელი ცხოვრების მანძილზე მოძღვრავდა დებს. 80 წლის წმიდანს მძიმე სენი შეეყარა. ახოვანმა მოსაგრემ ჭეშმარიტი ქრისტიანული მოთმინებით გაუძლო განსაცდელს და გარდაიცვალა 350 წელს, 83 წლის ასაკში.
