წმიდა ფლოროსი, ამიელი ეპისკოპოსი მართლმორწმუნე მშობლების, ფლოროსისა და ეფემიას ძე იყო. წმიდანმა კარგი განათლება მიიღო, რის შემდეგაც ბიზანტიის იმპერატორის კარზე დაიწყო სამსახური და პატრიციუსის ხარისხს მიაღწია. ფლოროსი დაქორწინდა და შვილებიც ჰყავდა, მაგრამ მთელი მისი ოჯახი ყვავილმა იმსხვერპლა. ნეტარი განერიდა ამსოფელს და კონსტანტინოპოლის გარეუბანს მიაშურა, სადაც კეთილმსახურებით ცხოვრობდა, მარტოობაში. მოგვიანებით წმიდა ფლოროსი ამიის (მცირე აზია) ეპისკოპოსად აირჩიეს. უფლის რჩეული ბრძნულად განაგებდა სამწყსოს და VII საუკუნის დასაწყისში მშვიდობით მიიცვალა.
