წმიდა მოციქული სოსთენი, აპოლონი, კეფა, კესარიოსი და ეპაფროდიტე – სამეოცდაათთაგანი (I). მოციქული სოსთენი მოქცევამდე კორინთოს სინაგოგის უფროსი იყო. ის ქრისტეს სჯულს წმიდა პავლე მოციქულმა აზიარა და თავის მოციქულებრივ ღვაწლში თანაშემწედ გაიხადა. კორინთოს ეკლესიისადმი მიმართვაში წმიდა პავლე მრევლს ორივეს სახელით ესალმებოდა: „პავლე, ჩინებული მოციქული იესო ქრისტესი ნებითა ღმრთისაჲთა და სოსთენი ძმაჲ“ (1 კორ. 1,1). მოგვიანებით წმიდა მოციქულ სოსთენს ხელი დაასხეს კორინთოს ეპისკოპოსად.
