Confesseur. Contemporain de saint Antoine le Grand, il vécut quatre-vingt ans dans le désert en ne portant qu'un seul et simple vêtement, n'ayant aucun logement. Il se soumit à cette rude ascèse et à bien d'autres pour ne vivre que selon la Volonté de Dieu.
