Constantin était un Juif qui se convertit au Christ. Durant son Baptême, il toucha la Croix avec sa tête, et une impression miraculeuse de la Croix demeura sur son front jusqu'à sa mort. Il mourrut à Constantinople au 7ème siècle. Célèbre pour son ascétisme et nombreux miracles, il prophétisa le jour de sa mort 7 ans à l'avance.
