Sabato di Carnevale +++ Presentazione del Signore La festa dell'Ypapantì, o dell'Incontro di Nostro Signore, Dio e Salvatore Gesù Cristo, ha avuto origine a Gerusalemme. Da qui la festa si è diffusa in tutta la Chiesa. Nella Chiesa d'Occidente è stata mantenuta la solenne processione e la benedizione delle candele, come avveniva a Gerusalemme nel IV secolo, da cui il nome Candelora.
