Sfîntul Eustatie acesta a fost persan, nascut în satul Arbuket. La vîrsta de treizeci de ani el a sosit în cetatea [georgiana] Mtskheta. Vazînd cum cred si vietuiesc crestinii în ea, el a primit cu rîvna Sfîntul Botez. El a fost schingiuit pentru Hristos si decapitat la Tbilisi în anul 589. Sfintele lui moaste odihnesc în biserica catedralei din Mtskheta, dînd vindecari tuturor celor care se ating de ele cu credinta.
