Acestia cu totii au fost aruncati în mare, dar marea nu i-a primit: caci ei au mers pe apa ca pe uscat si au cîntat Domnului: „O mila am alergat, Doamne, si oaste m-a gonit, Doamne si de Tine nu m-am lepadat! O Doamne, mîntuieste sufletul meu!" Vazîndu-i, pagînii au ramas la început înspaimîntati si fara grai, dar apoi au legat pietre grele de gîturile lor si i-au aruncat din nou în adîncurile marii, unde s-au înecat. Ei cu totii au luat cu cinste mucenicia pentru Hristos la anul 281 de la întrupare.
