Fiind aruncat la pamant i s-a batut mai intai trupul si apoi si fata cu toiege si a fost chinuit in multe chipuri, dupa care si-a dat duhul. Moastele lui au fost ridicate de cei din Licaonia, care avandu-le la ei se bucura si se veselesc
