In a doua zi dupa Duminica Pogorarii Sfantului Duh, adica in Lunea Rusaliilor, Biserica Ortodoxa praznuieste pe Sfantul Duh, a treia persoana a Sfintei Treimi, precum indica Penticostarul, la Sinaxarul Utreniei din Lunea Cincizecimii: "Intru aceasta zi, praznuim pe insusi Preasfantul si de viata facatorul si intru tot puternicul Duh, Carele este unul din Treime Dumnezeu...". Insa, in calendarele romanesti aceasta zi este trecuta ca sarbatoare a Sfintei Treimi. Se pare ca aceasta denumire a fost data sub influenta catolica. La catolici, Sfanta Treime e sarbatorita in prima Duminica dupa Rusalii. In calendarele celorlalte Biserici Ortodoxe, Lunea de dupa Rusalii este numita Lunea Sfantului Duh, ca in Penticostar.
