Ei cu toţii au luat mucenicia pentru Hristos Domnul la anul 310, unii fiind omorîţi cu sabia, iar alţii fiind aruncaţi în foc. Printre ei sau aflat şi doi episcopi vîrstnici, Peleus şi Nilus; de asemenea un preot, Zeno; doi bărbaţi din marea aristocraţie, Patermuthie şi Ilie; de asemenea Episcopul Silvanus, împreună cu un bătrîn orb, foarte îmbunătăţit, care cunoştea Sfintele Scripturi pe de rost şi le recita la adunările creştinilor. Ei cu toţii s-au învrednicit de cununa veşnicei slave a muceniciei şi s-au sălăşluit întru împărăţia Domnului Hristos.
