Sfîntul Dionisie a fost ieromonah şi zăvorit. La Slăvitul Praznic al învierii din anul 1463, i s-a întîmplat Sfîntului Dionisie să meargă la peşteri cu cruce şi cu cădelniţă spre a cădi sfintele moaşte şi morminte ale sfinţilor care odihneau acolo. Plin de bucuria învierii Domnului şi apropiindu-se de Peşteri, el a strigat: "Sfinţiţi Părinţi şi Fraţi, Hristos A înviat!" Din peşteri s-a auzit glas minunat ca de tunet care a răspuns: "Adevărat A înviat!"
