Ea fost principesa ţinutului Kakheti [din Georgia]. Ea a luat mucenicia sub Şahul Abbas întîiul, la anul 1624. La porunca acestui necurat şah, muceniţei i s-a pus pe cap un ibric înroşit în foc. Fiul ei Teimuraz, Regele Georgiei, a luat sfintele moaşte ale mamei lui şi le-a aşezat în sfîntul altar al bisericii de la Alaverdi din Georgia.
