Pe cînd erau arşi astfel, aceşi viteji 1-au batjocorit cu glas mare pe torţionar, zicîndu-i: "Oare nu vrei să guşti din carnea noastră, să vezi dacă sîntem bine fripţi?" Apoi, întocmai ca şi slăvitul Arhidiacon Lavrentie altă dată, ei au strigat: "Intoarce-ne acum şi pe partea cealaltă, ca să ne rumenim mai bine!", între mucenicii care au fost astfel torturaţi şi torţionar, cel plin de groază a fost torţionarul.
