Acest Constantin s-a nascut din parinti musulmani în Insula Mitilene. Vindecîdnu-se de o boala grea cu ajutorul apei sfintite dintr-o biserica crestina, si fiind martor ocular si al altor minuni lucrate de Credinta Crestina, el a primit Sfîntul Botez la Muntele Athos, în Schitul Kapsokalivia. Mai tîrziu însa Constantin a cazut în mîinile turcilor, care 1-au spînzurat în cetatea Constantinopolului la anul 1819, în a doua zi a lunii iunie, dupa ce mai întîi timp de patruzeci de zile 1-au torturat bestial.
