In timpul vietii lui pamîntesti Concordie a fost mare nevoitor si facator de minuni. Sub împaratul Antoninus el a fost arestat pentru marea lui credinta în Hristos. Dupa întemnitari si torturi, el a fost dus înaintea idolului din piatra al lui Zeus si silit sa-i jertfeasca lui. Dar pentru ca a scuipat asupra idolului în loc sa-i jertfeasca, Concordie a fost omorît pe loc, prin taierea capului.
