Apoi s-a dus la Olimp, dupa aceea la Sfintele Locuri, apoi la Laodiceea si la Attalia, suferind toate ostenelile calatoriei. Deci fiindca întelese înaltimea vietii si a faptelor sale celor bune, l-a plecat împaratul Vasile Macedon, de a mers la Mânastirea sfântul Foca. În care nevoindu-se foarte dupa Dumnezeu, cu pace si-a dat duhul.
