Deci, oştindu-se Alim Amira al agarenilor, asupra ţării aceleia a prins pe sfinţi; iar cuvioşii părinţii aceia i-au stat împotrivă, întăriţi fiind cu puterea lui Hristos, şi stând la mijloc Mihail preacuviosul egumen şi învăţându-i, i-a povăţuit pe toţi spre moartea cea pentru Hristos; şi întâi ei plecară capetele spre tăiere, apoi Cuviosul Mihail.
