Acestia au fost ucisi de lombarzi în Italia cam pe la anul 579 dupa Hristos. Despre ei scrie Sfîntul Grigorie Dialogul. Intr-un loc au fost decapitati patruzeci dintre ei. Intr-un alt loc, au fost decapitati patru sute, toti pentru vina de a fi refuzat sa manînce carne jertfita idolilor. In afara de aceasta, cei patru sute au mai refuzat si sa joace în jurul capetelor de capra aduse jertfa dracilor, dupa cum era obiceiul pagînesc al lombarzilor.
