Acest Miheia a fost contemporanul Sfîntului Proroc Ilie. El a prezis sfîrşitul cel rău al regelui Ahav în bătălia contra asirienilor (I Regi, cap. 22, II Cronici, cap. 18). Prorociile acestui Miheia nu au fost niciodată aşezate în scris. Celălalt Proroc Miheia a fost cel care a vestit naşterea Mîntuitorului în Betleem: Şi tu, Betleeme Efrata, deşi eşti mic între miile lui Iuda, din tine va ieşi Stăpînitor peste Israel, iar obîrşia Lui este dintru început, din zilele veşniciei (Miheia 5:1). Acestălalt Miheia este autorul uneia dintre cărţile profetice ale Vechiului Testament.
