El este unul dintre Cei Treisprezece Parinti Sirieni (a caror pomenire este la ziua de 7 mai). El a fost mare facator de minuni. Cu rugaciunea el a schimbat cursul unui mare fluviu, astfel încît, de la o foarte mare distanta, el sa vina si sa curga aproape de cetatea Tilkani. Sfintele lui moaste odihnesc într-o sfînta biserica închinata hramului lui, din cetatea georgiana Tilkani.
