Свештеник во некое место во Ахаја, од богат и угледен род, по природа благ и кроток, богољубив и човекољубив. Во времето на царот Декиј, а на денот на Рождеството Христово, јурнаа незнабожците на црквата, го извлекоа Мирон од службата и го ставија на маки. При мачењето во огнот му се јави ангел Господов и го поткрепи. Потоа почнаа да му ја сечат кожата на ленти, од главата до нозете. Маченикот дофати една од овие ленти од својата кожа и со нив го удри мачителот-судија в лице. Судијата Антипатар како надвор од себе зеде меч и се уби себеси. Најпосле Мирон го одведоа во градот Кизик и таму го погубија со меч, во 250 година.
