Стражари во римскиот затвор во кој беа затворени апостолите Петар и Павле. Кога го слушнаа словото и ги видоа чудата апостолски, се крстија и ги пуштија апостолите од затворот. Апостолите излегоа од Рим, но по патот на Петар му се јави Господ, Кој одеше кон Рим. „Каде одиш, Господи?“, го праша Петар. А Господ одговори дека оди во Рим на ново распетие. Засрамени апостолите се вратија во градот и таму ги фатија и ги убија. Со нив беа убиени и овие двајца храбри стражари Прокес и Мартинијан.
