Се подвизуваше во својот роден град ерменска Мелитина. Епископот на тој град, блажениот Отриј, којшто учествуваше на Вториот Вселенски Собор, го ракоположи за презвитер. После смртта на Отриј епископ стана Акакиј. Учествуваше на Третиот Вселенски Собор во Ефес, кој го осуди Несториевото злохулство кон Пресвета Богородица. Овде заедно со Св. Кирил Александриски тој многу ревнуваше за чистотата на православната вера. Свети Акакиј имаше голема благодат од Бога и вршеше многубројни чуда. После долг и ревносен живот во Христа мирно се упокои во 435 година.

- To do the annual calendar, display showing the liturgical readings per week
- To supplement existing content
- To do a completely new approach with banners and a small calendars for other sites,
- To do good application for desktop computers ...
