Од Седумдесеттемина. Свети Стахиј му беше помошник на Св. Андреј Првоповикан. Свети Андреј го постави за епископ во Византија. Ја устрои Црквата во Аргиропол и со своето стадо управуваше верно и ревносно. По седумнаесет години епископство се упокои мирно во Господ. Амплиј и Урван исто така соработуваа со Св. Андреј и од него беа поставени за епископи, и тоа Амплиј во Лида или Диоспол Јудејски, а Урван во Македонија. Обајцата пострадаа маченички за Господ Исус Христос. Наркис беше поставен од апостолот Филип за епископ во Атина. Св. Апелиј беше епископ во Ираклија Тракиска. Аристовул, брат на Варнава, ја проповедаше Христовата вера во Британија и таму се упокои мирно.
