Овој Христов војник беше Персијанец и со ревносна проповед на Евангелието обрати во Христовата вера многумина незнабожни Персијанци и Елини. Пострада во времето на персискиот цар Издегард, син Гороранов, во 412 година. Кога го фрлија во затвор, некој од царските големци се застапи за него кај царот. Царот го пушти, но со тоа да молчи и да не им зборува повеќе на луѓето за Христа. На тоа Венијамин одговори: „Тоа никако не можам. Зашто оној што ќе го скрие талантот бива предаден на големи маки.“ Па продолжи да ја шири Христовата вера. Царот нареди и му удрија трња под ноктите и го мачеа додека не Му го предаде својот дух на Бога.
