Јеромонах и затворник. На Воскресение во 1463 година кај него се случи ваков настан. Со крстот и кадилницата тој ги обиколуваше пештерите за да ги покади моштите и гробовите на упокоените светии. Па преисполнет со воскресна радост влегувајќи во една пештера возвикна: „Христос воскресе!“ Во тој миг од гробовите екна глас силен како гром: „Ваистину воскресе!“
