Голем подвижник меѓу Грците во Калабрија, основач на неколку манастири, чудотвроец и бранител на православната вера. Одеше долги патувања само за да го спаси еден човек од тешка казна. Имаше значи најтопла љубов кон ближните. Се упокои во 1005 година. Остави многубројни ученици, достојни на себе, меѓу кои особено се истакнува Свети Вартоломеј (+ 1044), писател на неколку канони.

- To do the annual calendar, display showing the liturgical readings per week
