Таа му е баба на Св. Вацлав, кралот чешки. Беше мажена за чешкиот кнез Боривој. Многу ревнуваше за Христовата вера и мнозина ги обрати од незнабоштво во христијанство. Снаа ѝ ја мразеше, па испрати луѓе што ја удавија старицата Људмила. Вацлав го погреба телото на Св. Људмила во црквата на Св. Георгиј во Прага. Од нејзините мошти се случија многу чуда. Пострада во Течино во 927 година. Св. Вацлав, големиот ревнител за православната вера, беше убиен од својот брат Болеслав.
