Син на сенаторот Дионисиј. Жестоко мачен за Христа, со биење и стружење, па потоа полумртов фрлен во затвор. Му се јави ангел Божји и го исцели. Пуштен од затвор, тој го радздаде сиот свој имот: нешто на сиромасите, а нешто на своите клеветници. Повторно го фатија и го стружеа додека не ја предаде својата душа на Господ. Од неговите рани наместо крв потече млеко и вода. Пострада во времето на царот Адријан.
