Роден е во градот Смоленск, по молитвите на своите родители. Рано стапи во монаштво и се предаде на голем подвиг подражавајќи ги древните пустински отци. Подоцна го основа манастирот на Чесниот Крст кај Смоленск. Претрпе многу искушенија од демоните и од луѓето, со големо трпение и благодарност кон Бога. Еднаш во време на голема суша со молитва низведе дожд. Откако помина педесет години во монашки чин, се упокои мирно во Господ околу 1220 година.

- To do the annual calendar, display showing the liturgical readings per week
- To supplement existing content
- To do a completely new approach with banners and a small calendars for other sites,
- To do good application for desktop computers ...
