Основачи на прочуениот Иверски (грузиски) манастир на Света Гора. Свети Јован се подвизуваше најнапред во лаврата на Атанасиј, а потоа основа свој манастир, Ивер. Се упокои во 998 година. Ефтимиј и Георгиј го преведоа Светото Писмо на грузиски јазик. Ефтимиј се упокои во 1028 година, а Георгиј во 1066 година. Гаврил се удостои да ја прифати чудотворната икона на Пресвета Богородица, којашто по морето дојде во манастирот.
