Родум од Елбасан. Беше женет и имаше деца. Намамен од Турците го прими исламот и насилно ги преведе своите деца во ислам, освен еден син којшто му побегна на Света Гора и се замонаши. Никодим отиде на Света Гора за да си го врати синот назад, но Света Гора на него изврши таков впечаток, што самиот се покаја, се врати во верата Христова и се замонаши. Три години го оплакуваше своето отстапништво, па најпосле реши да се врати во Албанија, да го окае својот грев таму каде што го изврши. Се врати значи, изјави пред Турците дека е христијанин и беше заклан на 11 јули 1722 година. Неговите чудотворни мошти и денес лежат цели и целебни.
