По потекло Грк од Пелопонез. Се подвизуваше во манастирот Дионисијат шеесет години и се престави кога имаше осумдесет и пет години, во 1605 година. За овој светител велат дека само еднаш влегол во манастирот и само еднаш излегол од него во текот на сите тие шеесет години. Имено, влегол тогаш кога првпат стапил во манастирот Дионисијат, а излегол тогаш кога мртов го изнеле за да го погребаат. Имал чудесен дар на проѕорливост и пророкување, а по смртта од неговите мошти потекло миро.
