Во времето на царот Теодосиј дојде како некрстена од Картагена во Цариград со уште четири девојки незнабожки. Патријархот Макариј ги крсти и им благослови да живеат како монахињи. Света Домника се предаде на подвиг со голема ревност и во таа ревност остана до смртта. Се упокои во Господ во длабока старост, околу 474 година. Имаше дар на проѕирање на идните настани преку Светиот Дух и чудотоворна молитва.
